Amanda Morris, LCSW | Licensed Clinical Social Worker | Registered Florida Telehealth Provider TPSW2396 | AuDHD TherapistFlorida Online Therapy for Autistic Women
Video therapy for late-diagnosed and self-suspected autistic and AuDHD women anywhere in Florida, healing from emotional abuse, relational trauma and burnout.
Maybe you got your diagnosis last year. Maybe you're still wondering. Either way, you're starting to see your whole life differently, including the relationships that left you doubting yourself.
I'm Amanda Morris, an AuDHD therapist with 25 years of experience. I work with women anywhere in Florida by video, so you can do this from your own space, on your own terms.
At a Glance
WHO I SEE
Autistic, AuDHD and neurodivergent women, 21 and up.
Diagnosed, self-identified or still figuring it out.
WHAT WE WORK ON
Emotional and narcissistic abuse recovery, relational trauma, autistic burnout, masking exhaustion and life after a late diagnosis.
WHERE
Online only, by secure video. Anywhere in Florida, as long as you're in the state during your session.
Finding the Right Therapist in Florida Shouldn't Be This Hard
Florida is a big state, and therapists who understand both autism in women and emotional abuse are hard to find in most of it. You might have one in your county. You might have none. You might have already seen someone who told you that you don't "seem autistic."
Online therapy takes your zip code out of it. You get a specialist without the drive, the waiting room or the fluorescent lights.

Does Any of This Sound Like You?
You've been called "too sensitive" or "too much" your whole life. Then a partner used the same words against you.
You replay conversations for days, trying to work out whether you were the problem.
You're not sure what happened in your relationship "counts" as abuse.
You've had therapy before. It helped a little, but you spent most of the sessions masking.
Things you used to handle, like phone calls, cooking or driving somewhere new, suddenly feel impossible.
A weekend off doesn't touch how tired you are.
You don't need a diagnosis, or a name for what happened, to start. We can figure that out together.
How Online Therapy With Me Works in Florida
Where you need to be. You need to be physically in Florida during each session (or in Louisiana or Virginia, where I'm also licensed). It's about where you are that day, not your home address. If you'll be traveling somewhere else, we'll move the session.
Time zones. Most of Florida is on Eastern time, so that's how I book. If you're in the western Panhandle, like Pensacola or Panama City, you're on Central time like me, and I'll confirm your appointments in Central.
What you need. A private spot, a phone, tablet or computer, and a decent connection. Sessions are by video through Jane, my secure client portal. Headphones help if you don't live alone.
Your setup, your rules. Keep your lighting, your noise level, your stim tools, your blanket and your pet. Camera off for a few minutes is fine. Eye contact isn't required.
Privacy at home. If someone at home checks your phone or listens in, tell me. We'll work out a safer time or place for sessions.
No in-person sessions in Florida. I'm based in Baton Rouge and registered with the Florida Department of Health as an out-of-state telehealth provider (TPSW2396). Florida doesn't allow registered out-of-state providers to see clients in person in the state, so all my Florida sessions are online.
Fees: Private pay. $275 for the 75-minute initial evaluation, $250 per 55-minute session and $450 for a 90-minute ART session. For individual therapy, I can give you a superbill for possible out-of-network reimbursement. You'll get a Good Faith Estimate before we start. See fees and FAQs →
What We Work On Together
Emotional abuse that's hard to name. A lot of women say "it wasn't that bad" right before describing something that was. We look at what happened, at your pace, without me telling you what to call it. More on how I work with emotional and narcissistic abuse →
Self-trust. If you've been told for years that you read people wrong, it's hard to trust your own read on anything. We’ll rebuild that.
Autistic burnout. We work on rest, regulation and decreasing your load, not on getting you back to the pace that burned you out in the first place. More on this: Autistic Burnout vs. Depression.
Masking and unmasking. Sorting out which habits kept you safe, which ones are really you, and where it's safe to stop performing.
Life after a late diagnosis. Relief, grief and anger at not knowing sooner. There's room for all of it.
I'm also trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), a structured way to process painful memories without retelling every detail. It works by video, and many neurodivergent clients like how predictable it is.
Hi, I’m Amanda
I'm a licensed clinical social worker with 25 years of experience, and I'm AuDHD. My work is trauma-informed, somatic and neurodiversity-affirming. You won't have to explain why a sound bothers you or why you'd rather have things in writing. Bluntness, long pauses and info-dumps are all welcome.
I'm licensed in Louisiana and Virginia, and registered with the Florida Department of Health to provide telehealth in Florida.
Is This a Good Fit?
Likely a good fit if you:
Are an autistic, AuDHD or neurodivergent woman, 21 or older, with or without a diagnosis.
Are healing from an emotionally abusive or controlling relationship, in the past or still going on.
Are worn out from years of masking.
Will be in Florida (or Louisiana or Virginia) for your sessions, and are okay with video.
Probably not the right fit if you:
Are in crisis or in danger. Call 911, or call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
Want an autism or ADHD evaluation. I don't diagnose, but I can point you to adult evaluation options that serve Florida.
Need medication management. I'm a therapist, not a prescriber.
Want to meet in person in Florida.
